The Bammies Music Foundation (BMF) was founded in 2018 by Kenny Wardell Sr. and is an official California 501c3 tax deductible, non-profit organization. The BMF was formalized after the “BAMMIES REUNION CONCERT” in March of 2018. The goals of the BMF are to bring back the San Francisco Bay Area Music Awards, “The Bammies” for the “Next Generation” and to offer music education, of all kinds, to San Francisco Bay Area high school and college-age people who are interested in learning the art and business of making music.

 

The main goals of the THE BAMMIES MUSIC FOUNDATION are to bring back the San Francisco Bay Area Music Awards, the BAMMIES, in a significant and meaningful way and to provide music education of all kinds to high school and college-age youth who are interested in learning the art and business of making music in the San Francisco Bay Area. The BAMMIES MUSIC FOUNDATION is a recognized California State 501 c3 tax-deductible non-profit organization that was formalized after the “BAMMIES REUNION CONCERT” in March of 2018.

From 1977 until 2000, BAM MAGAZINE was a San Francisco Bay Area based printed music publication following in the footsteps of Rolling Stone Magazine which was born in San Francisco but moved soon after to New York City.
